Stone Age ceramics

Four thousand years ago, such pots were used for holding grain, raising bread dough, preserving sour cream or pouring beverages.
The size of the pots also tells us about the size of communities and the need to accumulate food supplies for large groups of people over extended periods of time. Just thinkāto make and fire this pot, extraordinary skills were needed, skills that were passed on from generation to generation.
