During the excursion-lesson, the facts and events from the childhood and youth years of Jonas Basanavicius are told, and various funny and interesting stories told to little Jonas by his father are remembered. The practical assignment includes the creation of a book about Jonas Basanavicius.

When Oaks Warm the Earth

In the Oakery of the National Revival of Lithuania, schoolchildren are told various interesting facts about the groves, specific oaks named after certain people, the types of oaks, their planting procedure and etc. After the excursion, schoolchildren are invited into the house, where a creative task and fragrant acorn coffee are awaiting them.
